Apple don't give money to no one. Possibly the least altruistic company ever, which is disgraceful considering they're also the wealthiest.

Steve Jobs was pretty publicly opposed to donating to charity, but he's been gone for a while. If you Google "Apple Donations" you'll find a whole slew of articles detailing some of the contributions they have made since Tim Cook took the reins. For example, they match employee donations both in money and time.

Apple is pretty committed to HTTPS within iOS apps, many of which are created by small companies, so they ought to support it.
