Spoken like a true parent

Should we keep the whole education lie about choosing a career early on ? [1] or admit that things are the way they are and make people have a broader intellectual view about things so that they can jump whenever the times require it ?

[1] I understand the value of picking one thing and going deep. Versus breadth / jack of all trade say.

Yup! This was the best advice I had ever gotten. There were times I felt like an idiot for not understanding something but at a certain point understanding that no one knows what they're doing is just powerful.
