I think there are lots of ways to search for technical documentation, and I find DDG great to use when I'm looking for language documentation.

I use these features very frequently

    !javadoc SomeJDKClass

    !npm some-npm-module

    !ruby some-stdlib-package

Amongst others. There's always the extremely useful "!so" if you want to skip google and go straight to the source you were going to click on anyway.
