Social networking app for airports – anyone interested?
I'll keep this brief. For the last 15ish months or so, I have been working on an app for airports.
Before you dismiss it for being cliche, read on first.
The app only has two functions right now:
1) It tells you if your flight's on time or delayed
2) It sends you a push notification if your flight status changes (on time -> delayed, etc.).
The designs look pretty cool right now but could use a bit of work.
It's gotten ~10k downloads in the past 8 months, organically.
However, I wanted to add some new features to the app, including crowd-sourced tsa waiting times... A centralized frequent flyer dashboard [like MileWise]... And most unique, karma points/badges for checking into airports (like FourSquare but for frequent flyers).
How often would you use this?
