The guy's a VM performance giant, reminds me a bit of John Carmack in the "brain dump" presentation department. Check out this video[1] from this year's JVMLS and you'll see what I mean.

Not that $1M/year isn't a ton of money, but maybe the ROI for a company is well worth the price tag.

Yeah, "Winds of Change" is the actual page title, and that wasn't gonna fly, so elected to go with the Python angle.

Seems the Python project is what he's most interested in based on post and comments section. Flying cars, we're not quite there yet, let's get the self driving thing down first ;-)
