this is more the result of past failed policies and law enforcement racism not on the part of the newly formed marijuana industry. The new marijuana industry would be happy to hire convicted marijuana growers, they have proven experience that is documented in public court documents with tons of supporting evidence. Why would they not want to hire someone you can easily verify has successfully grown large amount of the product you are trying to grow? But current laws dont allow owners to hire or even allow these people to be any part of their business. It is a failure by legislatures to setup these barriers. They need to lower the restrictions to allow anyone without any violent felonies to be permitted to work in this new industry
The industry will probably be taken over by people who aren't drug users at all.
Of course, no example of people enjoying themselves would be complete without online "journalists" telling us how racist it is.
You're right, let's pretend we live in lalautopia where everyone is treated equally and past and ongoing injustices don't affect anyone's lives today. Reality is much more palatable that way. passes the joint to M
You're right, let's also perpetuate the stereotype of the idealistic stoner and assume that the person you don't agree with is out of touch with the injustices of reality.
