Ask HN: Where can I find decent TeX/PDF templates for org-mode exports?
Hello,
I have recently started writing most of my doc work in Emacs org-mode. The structured system goes great with my flow, but exporting it is a huge problem. The default LaTeX/pdf output is horrendous. The first paragraph i never indented, but the rest are, the font is horrible, the verbatim blocks do not have line wraps, etc.
I found one tempelate after hours of googling:
(add-to-list 'org-latex-classes
'("assignment"
"\\documentclass[11pt,a4paper]{article}
\\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\\usepackage{fixltx2e}
\\usepackage{graphicx}
\\usepackage{longtable}
\\usepackage{float}
\\usepackage{wrapfig}
\\usepackage{rotating}
\\usepackage[normalem]{ulem}
\\usepackage{amsmath}
\\usepackage{textcomp}
\\usepackage{marvosym}
\\usepackage{wasysym}
\\usepackage{amssymb}
\\usepackage{hyperref}
\\usepackage{mathpazo}
\\usepackage{color}
\\usepackage{enumerate}
\\definecolor{bg}{rgb}{0.95,0.95,0.95}
\\tolerance=1000
[NO-DEFAULT-PACKAGES]
[PACKAGES]
[EXTRA]
\\linespread{1.1}
\\hypersetup{pdfborder=0 0 0}"
("\\section{%s}" . "\\section*{%s}")
("\\subsection{%s}" . "\\subsection*{%s}")
("\\subsubsection{%s}" . "\\subsubsection*{%s}")
("\\paragraph{%s}" . "\\paragraph*{%s}")))
And while it is better than the default, it still has paragraph indent issues and no verbatim line-wrap. I unfortunately cannot devote time to learn LaTeX, so are there any decent templates anybody here knows about? or will I have to brave spend time learning this?
