This is a sequel to "Ray Tracing in One Weekend". http://in1weekend.blogspot.com/2016/01/ray-tracing-in-one-we...

I bought the first book and really enjoyed it. I learned a lot and even emailed the author when I ran into some trouble. I still need to finish that up (been busy with work and school) but I highly recommend the series. Very excited for this sequel.

This appears to only be "free" if you subscribe to a 1 month trial of "Kindle Unlimited".

I didn't see any indication that I signed up for it when I ordered the book.

Also, the HN discussion for the first book was good: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=10984620

The message about unlimited is first, but it is also available for free download.

I hadn't heard of the original; these look like good reads!

Missed that -- thanks for the correction.

Looks like Amazon is promoting Kindle Unlimited by their presentation, but it is free in the more subtle link beneath that one!
