Yes. The problem is the damn tax code changes every year (see: Intuit's lobbying) and you need to pay for an army of lawyers for when you get it wrong.
Inuit is not alone. Accountants and tax lawyers want it kept changing and complex, too.
Isn't it more like every day?
The trouble is that there would have to be a new version every year for the new tax code changes and it would need to be updated in a timely manner.
We're talking like Chrome or Firefox level of support for an app most people would use once a year.
