The article states that the vast majority of the Amazon employees works in the fulfillment centers. And yet they compare Amazon to Microsoft and Facebook. A retail giant like Walmart (1.4m employees in the US) or Target (370k employees in the US) would be a better comp in my opinion.
Right, I'd be more interested in the office or white collar workers.
