Ask HN: Life hacker ideas for learning for young children

In this age of computers, apps, and internet, what are your best/favorite methods ( tech or non-tech ) for helping young children ages 2-4 to learn and explore the world.

Here is what I currently use:

1. read many books

2. Play puzzles and play dough

3. Outside play

4. Identify all objects in real world with proper names

5. Flash cards for words and numbers

6. Limited youtube videos for foreign language and object/word identification
