The Vice Guide to Liberia (video; violence, language)

Pretty amazing content, but the worst web site I've used in ages. Seriously seems like they're trying to make it a puzzle.

Parts 1 .. 8

Ethan Zuckerman has an excellent essay on the film, its context, and some different ways to interpret it: http://www.ethanzuckerman.com/blog/2010/01/25/liberia-shock-...

This is great. I also strongly recommend their documentary about North Korea. It's a best in class type documentary, better than many that have won Oscars.

The epilogue of the story is that General Butt Naked adds them on Facebook.

vbs.tv has a lot of absolutely great documentary type programming that shows things you would never see on CNN or their like.
