Don't include your address in your resume
Including your address in a resume is starting to become a thing of the past for many reasons. More and more people are applying for jobs that would require relocation if acquired. If the candidate is applying for a job in California, but has stated that he/she lives in Florida then the candidate may be automatically rejected due to the distance. Another problem plaguing our current world is identity theft. Providing a full address could assist identity thieves in attempting to steal your identity.
The general rule of thumb is that if you are located in the same place as the job then just include the city/town that you live in, but do not include your street address. Other than that, it is best to just not include an address.
I am sure that most of you know this, but I thought I would share it anyway for the few that don't.
