Can someone who downloaded yesterday please publish a sha256sum of the zip (or each file in the directory tree), for comparison with the github mirror?
I think I did this right. I ran `shasum -a 256` on the zip, but let me know if it doesn't look quite right.
This sounds entirely wrong to me. Checksums are used all the time to verify the integrity of archives.
find . |xargs shasum -a 256
And then posted the output, that would be helpful to people that want to verify these files.
