I find that hard to believe. I think someone who doesn't understand the architecture wrote that or that Google opened a semi truck sized security hole.

Jit requires self modifying code. That's a huge security risk on devices which is why 3rd parties aren't allowed to ship jits. If Google makes a special case for Dart that would be a huge hole.

I'm guessing they just use AOT like the rest of us which is required on ios as well.
