It's apparently an "opening pitch," which you should write according to a checklist you will find at the very bottom of the post. Whether the checklist itself is useful or not, I leave as an exercise for the reader.
I read it in the voice of a 15 year old girl. The WORD emphasis and attitude that PR people should telepathically know how to communicate uniquely with every "journalist" made it quire appropriate.
