I understand that you are using localStorage to reduce the number of requests to the GitHub Job board [1] (they probably has a rate limit) but for people with cookies/localStorage/sessionStorage disabled by default we just see a blank page. Can you at least wrap the code under the comment "// User" with a try/catch and display an alert explaining the visitors to enable localStorage in order to interact with the website? Otherwise this will be seen as another broken site to me, thanks.
Thanks for your feedback! I took out the use of localStorage for now, because it didn't really have any benefit. I also tested using the '--disable-local-storage' option, and it seemed to be working fine. Let me know if it doesn't for you.
Strange behaviour: Job offers with location "Anywhere" map to my own location.
It was quite surprising to discover I was working at GitHub and we were hiring for five positions.
Very funny! For now, yes, job offers with location "Anywhere" will be put at your location. I'll think of a way to make this more clear to users if I can!
