They've apparently already announced the iPad Pro. It still runs iOS, so I don't get the point. The reason the Surface Pro is so powerful is because it runs an actual OS, so who is the target market for this?
So what's your definition of an "actual OS"?
I'm wondering if the new A9X chip will be used by MacBook Airs in the near future. It makes a lot of sense for Apple. Probably nearly as good as Intel offerings, less power usage and better margins.
