What are the blockers on using Flarum in production? (Bugs, changing API's, etc) I would consider putting this into light use for a private forum to with maybe 10 to 40 users. If it is not yet ready for this, when would you expect it to be? (Note: your Roadmap is currently empty.)

My experience with many other projects would be that sometime prior to a Release Candidate you would want people to be testing and using the Beta.

I am just evaluating Discourse for a small group, but it looks like Flarum would be a better fit for my use case.
